Simple present 馃摎
In English, the simple present is a tense used to express habits ,general truths, feelings or likes, to conjugate it, we maintain the verbs base. Except for the third person singular, the ending S is added.
1. When you want to cumminicate states or permanent actions
Ej: the earth is the third planet from the sun.
2. When manifesting states or situations that are routine or actions that have periodicity.
Ej: Every ten years is a decade.
3. To transmit appointments, facts oe commitments that will happen in determined time.
Ej: tomorrow is my birthday.
PRESENT SIMPLE STRUCTURE
Affirmative Suj +verb + complement
Negative. Suj+ aux do/deos not + verb+ complement
Interrogative. Aux do/does+ Suj+verb+ complement
Ej:
Aff: I drink too much coffe
Neg: I do not drink too much coffe
Int: Do I drink too much coffe?
CONVERSATION
Litzy: This place is amazing!
Alexander: Of course. It is an old building, but has a lot of art on its walls.
Litzy: I always enjoy this kind of visits.
Alexander: Me too, and more if they play The Somber Path.
Litzy: I love horror stories, thanks for inviting me!
Alexander: My pleasure! We can sit right here.
Litzy: Wow this view is perfect!
Alexander: You deserve to experience it!
Litzy: Oh, there they come, the actors!
Alexander: I know many of them, we can go backstage and say hi!
Litzy: Wonderful! And sorry if I bite my nails!
Alexander: That is a sign you´re having fun!
